North Staffordshire road forced to close due to inconsiderate parking

Police officers have had to close a North Staffordshire road while they move badly parked cars.

Due to the volume of people heading to The Roaches, officers have been forced to close Roach Road near Leek.

It comes as parked cars are blocking the highway and creating traffic issues.

Traffic monitoring company INRIX said: “Roach Road closed due to sheer volume of people going to The Roaches aroundĀ Upper Hulme.

“Parked cars are blocking the road, so police have closed it whilst they attempt to move them.”
