Shopping trolleys, rubbish and even a wheelie bin have been dumped at a South Cheshire beauty spot.
Dog-walker Yvette Dawson discovered the rubbish in the brook which runs alongside Flag Lane, in Crewe on Monday (November 9).
She said: “I am so disappointed that people have nothing else better to do than throw wheelie bins in the brook.
“At the weekend I seen one trolley in the canal and now there are loads, it’s getting worse.”
Now Cheshire East Council are arranging for the area to be cleared, reports CheshireLive.
Councillor Laura Crane, Cheshire East Council cabinet member, said: “We have arranged for the litter to be cleared and will also endeavour to retrieve the bins/trolleys from the brook.
“We are also aware that there are some vandalised benches, these will be removed.
“Sadly there is also graffiti on the installed play equipment which we will remove.
“There was a lot of vandalism and general littering in this area all last week too, all incidents are being picked up by our anti-social behaviour team.”
