Paramedics were called out to a Stoke-on-Trent street following reports of a ‘stabbing’.
The crew were dispatched to the scene near the Salvation Army in Vale Street, Stoke, shortly before 10pm last night.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing a number of emergency service vehicles rushing to the incident.
One patient was assessed by the attending paramedics, but they declined further treatment in hospital.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We were called by the police to reports of a stabbing on Vale Street, Stoke, at 9.50pm on Sunday.
“An ambulance and a paramedic officer attended and assessed one patient with minor injuries who declined hospital treatment.”
