Police appeal after sat nav ‘recovered’ from homeless person in town centre



Police have asked for information after seizing a sat nav from a homeless person in a North Staffordshire town centre.

The device – which is believed to have been stolen – was recovered in Newcastle-under-Lyme town centre

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said:  “A sat nav, which is believed to be stolen property, has been recovered from a homeless individual in Newcastle-under-Lyme town centre.

“Seized by the police on April 3 2020 it is thought that this was originally obtained by the individual sometime between the 1st and 3rd April 2020 from the Newcastle-under-Lyme town centre area. Local police are currently appealing for more information.
