Police appeal for car sightings as search for missing man, 64, continues


Police searching for a missing man who has not been seen for more than a week are appealing for sightings of his car.

Officers launched an urgent search for Kenneth Gallagher when he was reported missing after not being seen since November 30.

As part of their investigation, detectives are trying to trace the 64-year-old’s grey Audi Q7, which has a private registration plate of K400.

Kenneth, of Wolstanton, is described as 5ft 6in tall, of a stocky build, has short grey hair and wears glasses.

Detective Inspector Scott McGrath, of Staffordshire Police’s CID North, thanked the public for sharing the force’s first appeal and urged anyone who might have seen the car to come forward.

He said: “Firstly I would like to thank the public for their reaction to our appeal. We have seen around 1,400 shares across our social media platforms and many comments around this search.

“We are following up a number of lines of inquiry and one of those is around Kenneth’s Audi Q7 which we are looking to locate.

“Anyone who has seen the vehicle or may know its whereabouts is asked to get in touch.”
