Police called to North Staffordshire street after child goes missing



Police officers were called to a North Staffordshire town after reports a ‘young child’ had gone missing in the area.

A patrol car was seen parked up on St John’s Road in Biddulph shortly after 9am this morning (September 19).

Officers have now confirmed they were called to the town after reports a young child had gone missing.

But they are now safe and well.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman told StokeonTrentLive: “We were called to Biddulph to reports of a missing child.

“We flooded the area to look for them. We were then very quickly able to find the young child.”
