Police concerned for man force entry into North Staffordshire home

Police officers concerned about the whereabouts of man forced entry into a North Staffordshire home this morning.

Officers, assisted by the fire service, were dispatched to Dorridge Grove, May Bank, earlier this morning.

Eye-witnesses also reported seeing unmarked and marked police cars arrive at the property before a forensics van parked up outside the house.

But Staffordshire Police have now confirmed the elderly gentleman has been found safe and well.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We were called to Dorridge Grove in May Bank following concerns around the whereabouts of an elderly man.

“He has since been found safe and well.”

A Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman confirmed a crew had assisted police in gaining entry to the property.
