Police stopped a suspected drink-driver on the streets of Staffordshire – only to find out he was wanted by immigration officials.
The motorist was pulled over by the Staffordshire Police Dogs and Armed Response Vehicle (ARV) team earlier today (August 27) in Stafford.
It was then they discovered the motorist was wanted by immigration.

A Staffordshire Police ARV spokesman said: “The driver of this vehicle failed to stop for us in Stafford earlier tonight.
“No surprise really as the vehicle was taken without consent of the owner, with no licence or insurance.
“And he blew over three times over the drink drive limit and is wanted by immigration.”
The motorist’s identity was not revealed.
