Police yesterday broke up a group of friends at a South Cheshire park.
The group, from two separate households, were spotted by police patrolling Joey the Swan in Wistaston, near Crewe, yesterday evening.
A Cheshire Police spokeswoman said: “Witters Field & Joey the Swan late afternoon patrol.
“A group of four friends were dispersed from Joey, near the car park.
“Turns out they were from two separate households & thought they were fine to meet in public, providing social distancing was presented. Incorrect.”
