Police are hunting sheep rustlers who stole lambs from a Staffordshire field.
Thieves pinched 13 texel-cross breed lambs from land off the B5031 in Denstone, near Cheadle, last week.
It is believed to have happened sometime between Tuesday, May 12, and Saturday, May 16.
Now police are asking anyone who saw suspicious activity or vehicles in the area to get in touch.
The latest crime comes after the headless body of a lamb was discovered in nearby Stramshall, between Cheadle and Uttoxeter.
It is believed the head had been removed using a ‘sharp object’ under the cover of darkness on Thursday, April 30.
And sheep were taken from a field in the Woodmill area of Yoxall near Uttoxeter last month.
Anyone with information about the sheep rustlers is asked to contact Staffordshire Police via Facebook messenger, on the website or by calling 101 and quoting reference number SP-20200516-0162.
