Police hunt tracksuit bottom wearing man seen shouting at women on Staffordshire street



Police officers are hunting a tracksuit bottom wearing man who was seen shouting at women on a Staffordshire street.

The man – thought to be in his 20s – was stood in Siemens Road, Stafford , at around 12.30pm on Saturday (February 29) when he was being abusive and shouting at women.

One woman shared an encouter with the man on the Stafford Town Awareness Group.

She wrote: “The things said but it was very frightening he clearly hates women.

“I was with my partner at the time and the other lady also was not alone and yet he had no issue in making these threats.

“If I had been alone I strongly believe it may have been alot worse so just wanted to make people aware so no one gets hurt.”

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We received reports of a man being abusive and shouting at women in Siemens Road, Stafford, at around 12.30pm on Saturday (Feb 29).

“He is described as white, mid 20s, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins tall and wearing grey tracksuit bottoms. We are investigating the incident.”
