Armed police were deployed to a Stoke-on-Trent park in an attempt to hunt for weapon wielding teenagers.
Officers were called to Hanford Park shortly before 7pm on Saturday (September 5) to reports a group of teens had a weapon.
No description of the weapon has been released.
But firearm officers and the police dog unit went to the Wilson Street area to try and locate the alleged offenders.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “Officers carried out a structured search but there was no one matching the description in the park or the surrounding area.
“There were no reports of anyone injured. Patrols remained in the area for community reassurance.”
