Police name man due in court after incident in North Staffordshire town



Police officers have named a man due before the court following an incident in a North Staffordshire town.

Officers took to social media to reveal a 29-year-old man was arrested in High Street, Stone, on December 30.

They have now revealed the identity of the man due in court.

However no date has been given for when he will appear in the dock.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “A man’s been charged with two counts of threats to kill, assault and possessing a bladed article.

“It’s after 29-year-old Paul Jaggers of Adies Alley, Stone was detained by officers in on Wednesday, December 30.

“He’s been remanded in police custody.”
