Police name man due in court following ‘vehicle crimes’ in Staffordshire town


Police have named a man set to appear before the courts following a string of ‘vehicle crimes’ in a Staffordshire town.

Tony Fellow, of Moss Pit in Stafford, will appear before North Staffordshire Justice Centre next week charged with 11 offences.

Officers say the 40-year-old is accused of committing a number of crimes across Walton-on-the-Hill and Stafford.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “Fellows faces a total of 11 charges relating to offences which took place across Walton-on-the-Hill as well as the Moss Pit and Browning Street areas of Stafford.

“These include four counts of attempted theft of a vehicle, dangerous driving, driving without insurance, driving not in accordance with a licence, fraud and handling stolen goods as well as two counts of theft from a dwelling.

“He has been remanded in police custody and is due to appear before magistrates at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Wednesday “
