Police name woman who died in crash on M6 in Staffordshire



Police officers have named a woman who died following a two-vehicle collision on the M6 in Staffordshire.

The emergency services were called to the junction 11a area in Hilton Park, Staffordshire, shortly after 1am on Saturday.

Officers have now confirmed Beth Malpass, aged 27, from the Dudley area died following the collision.

She was driving a red MG MG3 when it was involved in the smash with a white DAF Trucks HGV.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “Specialist officers continue to support Beth’s family, who have politely requested that they are left alone at this sad time to grieve privately.

“The driver of the HGV was not injured.”
