Police release new image as search for missing 65-year-old from Stoke-on-Trent continues



Detectives searching for a missing Stoke-on-Trent woman have released a new picture as they continue their investigation.

Janetta Tatler went missing from her home address the Hanford area yesterday (January 14) shortly after 6.30pm.

Police had believed Janetta had been spotted in Tesco Trent Vale but have since concluded the woman spotted on CCTV stills was not her.

They are now pursuing other lines of inquiries and have now released a new picture as the search continues.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “Janetta was last seen in Hanford, Stoke-on-Trent, at around 6.30pm yesterday evening (January 14).

“After conducting further enquiries, officers have established that the woman captured on CCTV in Tesco Trent Vale is not Janetta.

“We are appealing for anyone who believes they may have seen Janetta, or anyone matching her description, to get in touch as soon as possible.

“She is described as 5ft 2ins tall, large build with short black hair. She was last seen wearing a beige fur coat and black leggings.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident 534 of January 13.
