Police searching for masked hooded man seen in North Staffordshire village



Police officers are searching for a face mask-wearing man seen peering into houses in a North Staffordshire village.

Officers were called to Clay Lake in Endon at around 12.20am today (December 31) to reports a man was looking into houses.

They believe he was seen heading towards a vehicle.

Police have now released a description of the man.

PCSO Stephen Sherratt, of Staffordshire Police, said: “In the early hours of this morning a suspicious person was seen around the Clay Lake area, looking at people’s property.

“The person seen was a male, approximately 5ft 6in tall. They were wearing a grey hoody, black jeans and a face covering.

“He was seen heading towards a vehicle in the area, no description of vehicle known at this time.”
