Police officers are searching for a missing man who was last seen at the Harplands Hospital.
John Larkins, aged 42, left the Hilton Road facility in Hartshill earlier today (December 8).
The police have now launched a missing persons appeal but are warning families not to approach John should they see him.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We are concerned for his welfare.
“He is described as white, 5ft 7in tall with short grey hair and grey stubble. He now has shorter hair than in the photo we released.
“John is believed to be wearing a black t-shirt, cream/white jogging bottoms and grey trainers.
“Anyone who sees John is asked not to approach him.”
