Police officers have recovered a quantity of drugs after raiding a North Staffordshire property.
The Staffordshire Moorlands Police revealed they visited a property in The Walks, Leek, where the illegal substances were recovered.
As the drama unfolded tonight (December 16) they found what is believed to be both class A and B drugs at the address.
The subtances have not been revealed.
Officers have not confirmed if anyone was arrested at the scene.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “This evening local officers have executed a warrant at The Walks in Leek and seized a quantity of class A and class B drugs.”
Chief Inspector Mark Thorley, commander of the Moorlands Policing Team, welcomed the news.
He said: “Well done team, no where to hide in the Moorlands, certainly not behind that door anymore.”
