Police officers have arrested a van driver following a ‘lengthy pursuit’ through the streets of Staffordshire.
The Staffordshire Police Road Policing Unit (RPU) and the Armed Response Vehicle, chased the motorist through the streets of Cannock.
When they stopped the driver they found what was initially thought to be an iPhone. Officers soon discovered it was a ‘taser device’.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “RPU had a lengthy pursuit around the Cannock area where we safely got it stopped with the help from Staffordshire ARV and Dogs.
“Driver arrested for dangerous driving, fail to stop,no licence or insurance.
” We also found this iPhone which is actually a taser device.”
