Police are trying to trace the rider of a quad bike that was spotted in a Stoke-on-Trent park.

The vehicle was spotted in Hanley Park on Monday.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said:  “I’m appealing for information regarding a quad style motorbike that was being driven in Hanley Park. Any information regarding a description of bike or rider would be appreciated.

“We are also after a home address of the owner so further action can be taken.”

Police in the north of the city are also asking for information about an off-road bike being ridden anti-socially in Smallthorne.

A police spokesman said: “During my latest patrol I caught a glimpse of a small off road bike on Community Drive.
