Police have provided us with an update after emergency services were called to a car upside down in a petrol station hedge in Stoke-on-Trent this evening (Sunday February 23).
Paramedics, police and firefighters were called to the Esso petrol station – known locally as the Black Cat Garage – on the A53 Leek New Road, Sneyd Green, shortly before 6.30pm tonight.
There were three people in the car at the time – although police say there were no ‘significant’ injuries.
The vehicle has now been recovered and police say nobody has been arrested in connection with the crash.
A Staffordshire Police spokeswoman said: “We were called at 6.25pm this evening to that petrol station to reports of an RTC involving a vehicle going into the petrol station wall with three occupants in the car.
“There were no significant injuries to anyone inside.
“There was some minor damage to the perimeter brick wall. No arrests.”
