Police warning after fuel stolen from lorry at M6 service station



Police are urging people to be vigilant after fuel was stolen from a lorry at a motorway service station in Cheshire.

The theft took place at Sandbach Services on the M6.

This weekend police in the area urged people to keep an eye out for suspicious vehicles or people at the services.

A Cheshire Police spokesman said:  “Following an incident of fuel theft from a HGV at Sandbach services, we would like to remind everyone to keep an eye out for any suspicious people/vehicles.

“If you see anything suspicious please contact 101, when parking the vehicles overnight we recommend parking them in a well lit car-park (with CCTV if possible).
