Police warning after jewellery stolen from Stoke-on-Trent home

Police are asking homeowners to take precautions after jewellery was stolen from a Stoke-on-Trent home.

The theft took place in Goldenhill – with a similar incident reported in the Butt Lane

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said:  “We have recently had a jewellery theft in Goldenhill neighbourhood. Offenders are targeting homes that are unoccupied due to owners going away on holiday or being out at work during the day.”

Police have offered the following safety tips:
