Police warning as groups of youngsters start Stoke-on-Trent Fight Club



Police officers have issued a warning after teens in Stoke-on-Trent started a Fight Club.

Officers became aware of youngsters planning to meet in alleyways across Tunstall for prearranged fights.

They are now trying to find out who started the Fight Club.

PCSO Susan Wall from Staffordshire Police said: “We have been made aware that there are recordings of organised fights on social media of a so called Fight Club, local youths have been filming prearranged fights which are taking place in the alleyways in Tunstall after school.

“We are appealing for support from parents to identify the youths organising these fights and any information about where and when he next fight is planned.”

The idea of a the meetings was popularised in the 1999 film Fight Club starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton. The film sees two men forming a club to alleviate their boredom.
