A popular butchers has reiterated its coronavirus rules – because customers are ignoring them.
Allan Jones has an A-board at its Fenton shop which outlines the rules during the latest lockdown.
But some customers are still walking into the Christchurch Street outlet without wearing their face mask.
It comes as the shop temporarily shut in November after a member of staff tested positive for coronavirus.
The shop rules are:
- Face masks to be worn in the shop at all times;
- Face masks must be on when the person enters the shop;
- Anyone who cannot wear a mask will be served at the door;
- The face mask must cover the customer’s nose and mouth.
In a Facebook post to customers, the shop said: “Due to constant breaches of the rules laid out by the Government and ignorance to our large A-board at the entrance to the shop which clearly states no entry without a face mask, we feel the need to post the rules if you wish to shop with us.
“We have even offered free face masks to customers since we reopened due to our Covid outbreak.
“These simple rules are to keep you, your families, our staff, and their families safe at this terrible time.”
