Port Vale are back into the play-off places but suffered a frustrating afternoon as they were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Scunthorpe.
John Askey’s side were on course for all three points when they dominated the first half and Mark Cullen fired them into a 16th-minute lead.
Alex Gilliead levelled against the run of play on 71 minutes but Nathan Smith restored vale’s lead when he scored from Dave Worrall’s corner seven minutes later.
However, George Miller’s 90th-minute header, after a mix up in the defence, earned the visitors a 2-2 draw.
Vale still move up a place to seventh after Cheltenham were beaten 2-0 at home to Colchester.
