Port Vale launch ticket offer for key games in promotion push

Port Vale have launched a ticket offer for two key home games as John Askey’s side try to make the play-offs.

Supporters who buy tickets for the game against Crawley, on Saturday March 14, can get tickets for the Bradford game, on Tuesday March 17, for half price.

Vale are advising that tickets for both games must be purchased at the same time and the offer is not available online.  The offer ends at 3pm on March 14 – kick off time against Crawley.

The Vale have just six home games left, and 11 in total, to try to clinch a place in the play-off spots for the first time since 1993.

They dropped out of the top seven after Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Walsall, but only on goal difference. Eighth-placed Vale are level on points with Northampton and Colchester, and are just two points behind fifth-placed Cheltenham.

The Vale return to action on Saturday when they are at home to Scunthorpe.

Vale were followed by 2,307 supporters at Walsall at the weekend, their biggest league away following of the season.

That beats the 2,261 who saw the Vale beat Crewe at Gresty Road in November. Vale’s biggest away following on all competitions this season is the 8,000 that saw them in the FA Cup third round at Manchester City.
