Port Vale’s home league game with Leyton Orient has been brought forward to Saturday November 28 (3pm)
The game had been scheduled for Tuesday December 1 but the clubs were left with a free Saturday after both were knocked out of the FA Cup.
Vale went out of the first round 1-0 at home to King’s Lynn Town while Orient lost 2-1 at home to Newport County.
The Vale have also announced that the home league game with Scunthorpe has been rearranged for Tuesday November 17 (3pm). That game had been scheduled for November 3 but was postponed because of Covid-19 cases in the Scunthorpe squad.
Meanwhile, Vale are in action this Tuesday when they entertain Liverpool under-21s in their final group match of the EFL Trphy. Vale just need a draw to guarantee their passage into the knockout stages.
