Quad bike taken off Stoke-on-Trent roads by police


Police officers have taken a quad bike off the streets of Stoke-on-Trent.

They were called to Abbots Road, Abbey Hulton, yesterday (May 24) to reports of a quad bike.

Officers say that bike was not legally on the road and has been seized.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “Just had a message to say that local officers have been to Abbots Road in Abbey Hulton to reports of a quad bike.

“On arrival, the bike is not legally on the road and has been seized.”

Officers from the Staffordshire Police Road Policing Unit (RPU) were called to ‘nuisance’ off-road motorcycles in Bentilee

Officers from the Staffordshire Police Road Policing Unit (RPU) were also called to ‘nuisance’ off-road motorcycles in Bentilee.

A Staffs Police RPU spokesman said: “Reports of nuisance off-road motorcycles on the Bentilee estate.

“This rider wasn’t wearing a helmet. Managed to intercept the rider & dealt with him accordingly.”
