A popular pub is getting ready to reopen on Monday – and you’ll need to ring the doorbell for a pint.
The Roebuck, in Chesterton, has outlined its rules as coronavirus lockdown restrictions look set to be further relaxed from Monday, April 12.
It has revealed no booking system will be in place for the outdoor areas at the Dragon Square venue.
In a Facebook post to customers, the venue said: “The pub door will be closed and customers will have to ring the doorbell. They will be attended to and sat in the garden. No groups of more than six will be allowed to sit together. It is table service only. Masks have to be worn when not sat at your table.
“Don’t forget to bring your coats as it can get a bit chilly in the evening and when the sun goes in. Once we are full there will be no admissions – no exceptions.”
The venue will open from midday on Mondays, from 4pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and from 1pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
