Pop superstar Robbie Williams has revealed how he has kept his motivation up throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
The 46-year-old Stokie – who now lives in LA with his wife Ayda Field and their four children – recently took part in the WW (Weight Watchers) walking challenge and says he now walks an astonishing 20,000 steps a day.
In an Instagram video from a few weeks back, the Tunstall-born singer says: ‘I”m halfway through the Move More WW Challenge and it’s really made me realise how important it is to keep moving.
“I have found a new love for walking and hiking and believe it or not I’ve been doing 20,000 steps a day.
“It’s a great way to spend time with the family and take advantage of the fresh air during the lockdown.
“Like many of us, I initially struggled to find motivation and to stay active but WW are challenging the UK to 30 minutes every day however you wish, five times a week for six weeks.”
In another video, Robbie – who is a WW ambassador – can be seen walking on the spot to get his steps up whilst watching Sky Sports.
He tells the camera: “This is what I am doing when I can’t get out on the road and have a walk. Just on the spot and miraculously, step count works – so 6,700 so far.”
