Let’s start with the team news….
Port Vale boss Danny Pugh has made two changes for tonight’s League Two game at Scunthorpe.
Winger Alex Hurst and striker Mark Cullen are in the side in place of Luke Joyce and David Amoo – meaning a likely switch from 4-3-3- to 4-4-2.
Meanwhile, Manny Oyeleke is included on the bench after injury. Also among the substitutes is goalkeeper Tom Scott, a day after signing a contract to the end of the season.
The 20 year old former Manchester City academy keeper has been recruited because Dino Visser is out with a hamstring injury.
Vale are looking to bounce back from Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at home to Walsall, a result that left them in 16th, three places and three points above tonight’s opponents.
Scunthorpe, who are looking to complete a league double over Vale, won 3-0 at home to Grimsby on Saturday.
