Sex offender David Coughtrie will appear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court accused of breaching a court order.
The 52-year-old, of Kimberley Road, Etruria, is charged with breaching a sexual harm prevention order by communicating with a boy using a Playstation.
He is also charged with failing to comply with the notification requirements of the sex offenders’ register. He gave no indication of his pleas at North Staffordshire Justice Centre.
The case was sent to Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court, where Coughtrie will appear on January 15.
Forty-one-year-old Darren Redden has denied making a threat to kill between July 3, 2019 and July 10, 2019.
He has also pleaded not guilty to putting a person in fear of violence by harassment between August 28, 2019 and September 1, 2019.
Redden, of Alexandra Road, Ashington, Northumberland, has been bailed. His trial will be held at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on a date to be fixed.
Thirty-year-old Kieran Davidson, of no fixed address, has pleaded guilty to acting in breach of a restraining order between August 6, 2019 and September 30, 2019.
He will be sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court after a report is prepared on him by a probation officer.
Davidson has been remanded in custody in the meantime.
Fifty-year-old Kevin Curwen, of Scotia Road, Burslem, has denied possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence on April 22. His trial will be held at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on April 27.
He remains on bail.
Nineteen-year-old Jayden Lancett, of Wade Street, Burslem, has pleaded not guilty to two charges of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug and being concerned in the supply of a class B drug.
His case has now been adjourned. Lancett will next appear at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on January 6.
His bail has been extended.
Serving soldier Levi Marsden has denied committing sexual assault on February 8.
The 26-year-old, of Stoke-on-Trent, who serves with the 1st Battalion The Mercian Regiment, will have a trial at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on October 11.
He remains on bail.
Twenty-one-year-old William Rathbone has denied rape and assault by penetration.
Rathbone, of no fixed address, will have a trial at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on March 15. He has been remanded in custody.
Thirty-seven-year-old Michael Roddy, of no fixed address, had pleaded not guilty to carrying out a burglary in Audley on April 30, 2019 and an attempted burglary on May 1, 2019.
His trial will be held at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court in the week beginning June 21. Roddy has been remanded in custody.
Twenty-nine-year-old Patrick Harding has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, two offences of driving while disqualified, assaulting an emergency worker and damaging property on April 17.
He has also admitted two offences of driving without insurance and failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis.
Harding, of Bond Street, Tunstall, will be sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court after a report is prepared on him by a probation officer. His bail has been extended.
Twenty-seven-year-old Wasim Akhtar has denied wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm on February 21.
His trial will be held at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on July 19.
Akhtar, of Park Terrace, Tunstall, will next appear at the court on February 19. He has been bailed in the meantime.
Forty-year-old Gareth Goodwin, of Urmston Place, Blurton, has denied three charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
His trial will be held at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on June 22.
Goodwin’s bail has been extended.
Thirty-nine-year-old Mark Bates, of Neptune Grove, Birches Head, has admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm on November 4.
But he has denied controlling or coercive behaviour between July 1, 2018 and November 5, 2020 and a trial will be held at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on May 12.
Bates has been remanded in custody.
