She’s back! DJ Louise Stones returns to lunchtimes on Radio Stoke – from tomorrow
Popular DJ Louise Stones is back on the daytime schedules on BBC Radio Stoke – for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic.
The presenter disappeared from the airwaves as she shielded during lockdown and the schedule was condensed so there were just three four-hour shows between 6am and 6pm Monday to Friday.
The situation was further complicated by a round of redundancies which threatened the futures of some of BBC Radio Stoke’s most-popular presenters.
But she has returned to the airwaves in recent weeks – on Thursday and Friday nights – and will now be presenting a one-hour show from Monday, November 9.
It will be on between 1pm and 2pm as mid-morning host Stuart George sees an hour shaved off his show.
It promises: “Lunchtime fun and music, The Big Hug, and the local people who Make a Difference.”
