Should be prosecuted – Fans react to exit of Stoke City outcast

Giannelli Imbula has gone from Stoke City and is on his way to Russia by all accounts.

Stoke fans are waving him on his way, but with the odd one and two-fingered gesture attached it seems.

Here’s what supporters have been saying on our Facebook page about his exit and subsequent career…

John Whitfield: He ought to be prosecuted under the Trade & Descriptions act, he won’t change, another Mug club awaiting to sign this total unreliable joke of a footballer.

Lesley Lewis: Don’t wish him harm but feel he should have a close look at himself and his attitude!

Mark Dunn: Waste of time and space. Worst signing ever.

Adrian Jones: What is so painful is to watch a good player with talent not apply himself and be so unprofessional.

Trevor Coxon: Biggest conman in World football today.

David Brindley: Sorry but majority of us proper fans would have him playing for us. Great player just misunderstood.

Ashley Campion: Take a big look at yourself young man! Some people would bite their right arm off for the opportunity in football you have had!

John Robertson: Hope who ever signs him play us in a friendly.

John Mothershaw: You wish his new club luck….. they’re going to need it with this clown onboard.

Butch Robinson:  Absolute waste of oxygen.

Martin Warrilow: A disgrace of a professional.
