Just six more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Cheshire East in the latest daily update.
Public Health England this afternoon said the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the area had risen to 1,309 – up from 1,303 in yesterday’s update.
No further deaths with coronavirus have been reported at hospitals in Crewe, Congleton or Macclesfield according to today’s updates for NHS England.
Numbers released by the Office for National Statistics this morning show 471 people had died with coronavirus in Cheshire East by June 5.
A total of 14 of those deaths took place in the week running up to June 5 – with 10 deaths in hospitals and four in care homes.
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) said 41,969 people had died in hospitals, care homes and the wider community after testing positive for coronavirus in the UK as of 5pm on Monday, up by 233 from 41,736 the day before.
The Government figures do not include all deaths involving Covid-19 across the UK, which is thought to have passed 53,000.
The DHSC also said in the 24-hour period up to 9am on Tuesday, 113,107 tests were carried out or dispatched, with 1,279 positive results.

Overall, a total of 6,981,493 tests have been carried out and 298,136 cases have been confirmed positive.
The figure for the number of people tested has been “temporarily paused to ensure consistent reporting” across all methods of testing.
