Half a dozen drinkers have been banned from a town’s pubs for a year following disorder.
Another person has been hit with a lifetime ban from licenced premises after issues in Congleton.
Those barred from the pubs have not been named in the Cheshire Police announcement this evening.
A police spokesman said: “Six people have been excluded from visiting Congleton licenced premises for 12 months for their part in recent disorder in the town.
“One person has been given a lifetime ban.
“Your licensees work with the police and Cheshire East Council to keep Congleton a safe place to socialise”
