Angus, who was married to Margot for 43 years, had two sone – Stuart and Iain and was also a gandfather of three, reports DerbyshireLive.
Stuart said: “We shared an office and worked side by side, so I will miss all that. “I’ve been running the business with his guidance and he’s been a mentor to me.
“I will continue that legacy and continue to build the business. I learned a lot from him. He was a self-made businessman and the company won’t suffer because of his loss. I will make sure it’s well looked after.”
Angus started the business in 1975 from a small rented workshop alongside a petrol station in Doveridge.
He slowly built the business up and bought premises in Bridge Street, Uttoxeter.
Stuart said: “He was always happy to help others and even though he was very successful he never forgot where he came from, he kept his feet firmly on the ground.
“Customer service was his number one priority and he cared about the community and giving back to the community
“I think that’s why he did so well. He will be missed by many.”
