Staffordshire motorist stopped ‘unrestrained child’ in four-by-four



A Staffordshire motorist was stopped by police officers for having an ‘unrestrained child’ in the front seat.

Officers from the Staffordshire Police Road Policing Unit – a team of dedicated traffic cops – stopped the vehicle in Stafford.

They then discovered various other issues with the vehicle.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: ” child seen unrestrained in the front of this vehicle led to the discovery of a couple of further issues in Stafford.

“Theses namely being driver was disqualified,the vehicle was cloned and had been reported stolen in April.”
