Stoke City have confirmed their game at Reading will be on Saturday June 20 with a 3pm kick off.
The Madejski Stadium clash will be Stoke’s first when the Championship restarts after a suspension of three months because of the coronavirus crisis.
The date and kick off time had been issued by City and the EFL yesterday but those details were provisional and could have been changed by agreement between the clubs or if the game was selected for live TV.
None of Stoke’s games are among the 11 Championship matches selected by Sky Sports.
However, all season ticket holders will be able to watch City’s remaining games via Stoke City+ Live. Non season ticket holders can pay £10 to watch the game.
After the Reading game, Stoke will play at home on the next four Saturdays, with subsequent away matches played in mid-week. All will be played behind closed doors.
The kick-off times are currently set for 3pm on Saturdays or 7.45pm in mid-week but this could change depending on broadcasting requests or agreement from Stoke and their opponents.
Championship clubs are still waiting for a plan for the final day of the season – when Stoke will be away at Nottingham Forest – to be ratified.
