Stoke City hit by Covid blow as Michael O’Neill makes four changes at Sheffield Wednesday

Harry Souttar misses out on a place in Stoke City’s starting XI against Sheffield Wednesday after going into self-isolation.

It is a blow for Michael O’Neill to be without a centre-half who has quickly emerged as a key man since returning from 18 months on loan at Fleetwood Town.

James McClean, however, returns from self-isolation to start this afternoon in one of four changes.

Nathan Collins and James Chester come into defence while Lee Gregory replaces Steven Fletcher (knee) in the forward line. Josh Tymon and Tommy Smith also drop out.
