Stoke City live! Michael O’Neill press conference ahead of Huddersfield Town clash

Michael O’Neill is back from an international break and heading into a run of 13 fixtures in six weeks, starting tomorrow at home to Huddersfield Town.

And he is going into this hectic schedule without injured senior goalkeepers Adam Davies and Angus Gunn, meaning that he will have to hand out a Stoke City debut against Huddersfield Town.

James McClean is also ruled out after testing positive for Covid while on duty with Republic of Ireland.

The good news is that O’Neill has been able to help convince the EFL to allow five substitutes in a mid-season rule change.
