Stoke City name team to face QPR as Tom Ince is handed a surprise start



Stoke City manager Michael O’Neill has named his starting XI for this evening’s game against QPR at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

O’Neill has made two changes from the Stoke team which drew 0-0 against Derby. In came Tom Ince for a first Championship start of the season with James McClean also returning.

Jordan Thompson dropped out, as did Steven Fletcher, who has been struggling with injury.

Joe Bursik had the same back of Nathan Collins, Harry Souttar, James Chester and Morgan Fox in front of him. Jordan Cousins was set to anchor the midfield alongside Josh Tymon.

Ince and McClean were likely to play on the flanks with Nick Powell in behind Jacob Brown.
