Stoke City player ratings vs Wycombe as Souttar fights and breaks duck

Stoke City are back to winning ways thanks to goals from Rhys Norrington-Davies and Harry Souttar against Wycombe. Here are the player ratings from the bet365 Stadium.

Gunn: Punched what needed punching on his way to another clean sheet. 6

Smith: Took chances to get forward and try to find Nick Powell at any opportunity. 6

Nottington-Davies: Lucky when he stuck out leg in own area late in first half but ruthless for goal, seeing opening and making it count. 8

Chester: Complements Souttar well and had to handle Akinfenwa for final 10 minutes. 7

Souttar: Stood up for wrestling match with Ikpeazu – and has bumps and scrapes to show for it – and finally got that first goal for Stoke. He wanted that corner more than anyone else. 8

Mikel: Nothing flash as he kept ball moving around in midfield. 6

Allen: Knitted moves together well in opening stages. Got into some good areas but will wonder how on earth he missed that open goal. 6

Powell: Crashed early header onto crossbar. Unlucky to have goal disallowed for foul on Stewart. Would be a hero with fans in. 8

Brown: Strong build-up play if he could add final ball. Was unlucky to see Powell pass fizz in front of him. 6

Clarke: Took the chance to run at defenders after being handed start on left wing. Neat cross for Souttar goal and set up Norrington-Davies and Allen late on. 7

Fletcher: Ambitious volley wide in first-half. Linked well with Powell. Neat play for opening goal. 7
