Gabriel Kyeremateng remains in talks with German third tier side VfB Lubeck – and has another club expressing interest, according to reports in Germany.
The 21-year-old striker has been with Stoke for two years since joining from Borussia Dortmund’s academy and scored six times for the under-23s last season. He was invited to train with the first team as they prepared for the Championship re-start post-lockdown.
But he went to Lubeck on trial earlier this month hoping to earn one of three places on offer.
Now his adviser has claimed that there might be other another option on the table.
Mo Sankoh’s brother Abdul, who was with rare talent and Holland youth star Mo on Stoke’s books last season, has followed Mo to Stuttgart.
Abdul, who was sent on work experience to Kidsgrove Athletic over the winter, made a trial appearance for Stuttgart’s under-21s today in a 4-2 friendly defeat to Schweinfurt 05.
