Stoke City striker Benik Afobe has issued an injury update handing loan side Bristol City a promotion boost ahead of their potential run-in.
The League is currently suspended because of the coronavirus but City forward Afobe is working hard to battle back from injuries to his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and lateral cruciate ligament (LCL) suffered in September last year.
Afobe suffered the injuries in training a little over a month after he signed on a season-long loan for the Ashton Gate side.
He had managed three goals in five games for the club and his injury was a huge blow to the promotion hopes of the Robins.

Lee Johnson’s side are in seventh with nine games left to play but with the League on hold their matches against Blackburn Rovers, Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol City are all postponed for now.
The EFL took the decision on Friday to halt the season until April 3, but there are fears the League might not resume for a while yet.
Afobe, meanwhile, will continue working to be back for whenever the season does restart.
