A Stoke-on-Trent Boots store has closed its doors to customers after police were called to a ‘disturbance’.
Officers were dispatched to the branch at the Alexandra Retail Park in Tunstall shortly after 2.30pm this afternoon.
Some damage was caused to the store during the incident and an investigation has now been launched.
A sign has been put in the store’s window advising customers the shop is closed ‘until further notice due to circumstances out of their control’.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We were called to Boots at Alexandra Park in Tunstall shortly after 2.30pm this afternoon to reports of a disturbance where some damage was caused to the store.
“Inquiries are underway.”
