A Stoke-on-Trent city centre road is closed because of a police incident.
Stafford Street in Hanley was forced to close shortly after 2pm today (March 8).
Transport giant First Potteries revealed buses were having to divert as a result.
A spokesman said: “Due to a police incident, all services entering and leaving the city centre are currently unable to use Stafford Street.
“Outside services will use Marsh Street, inbound services will use Potteries Way.”
There is currently no indication as to what the incident is.
StokeonTrentLive has approached Staffordshire Police for a comment.
