Police officers have launched an investigation after two men were seen putting three dogs into the back of a car.
Officers were called to Long Lane in Harriseahead at around 2.45pm yesterday to what they say was a ‘suspicious incident’.
Social media reports suggest there were two bulldogs and a cocker spaniel type dog spotted being put in the vehicle.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We received reports on January 4 at around 2.45pm of a suspicious incident in Long Lane, Harriseahead, involving two men putting three dogs into a vehicle.
“Our investigation is ongoing.”
